|There have been awesome people who have been kind enough to make me some fanart c: This section shall praise their awesomeness! Thanks for making me stuff, guys! It means a lot!|
Yo, I'm JustAutumn.
I like to draw, animate, and sleep a lot.
You miiiight know me from my Tumblr where I post a lot about "Our Names Are Seasons Yo". It's a series I'm planning to get up and running as a comic in the future. But until then, you can check out the tag here to see what it's generally about, get to know the characters, and see a bunch of random art c:
I felt like this section needed to be added c: Please refer to this before asking a question. If it's here, it's been answered. If it's not here, then go ahead and ask me ;D
Can you draw ______ for me?
Sadly, no. Requests require work, just like any other drawing, and this work usually takes a lot of time. With all the other art and personal things I need to get done, there is simply not enough time for me to take requests. However, I have done a little "Request Rampage" in the past where I'll take a certain amount of people's ideas and draw them. When I do one of those, you're welcome to ask for one. Otherwise, no. I don't do them.
Are your requests/trades/collabs/commissions/etc. open?
Check down below for my art status c: If it says it's closed, it's closed. If it says it's open, then you can ask for one ;D Also, if you ask for something (request/collab/blah blah blah) and it says closed, I won't respond to you. I'm not meaning to be rude when doing that, but so many people have asked me this question when these have been closed, then I have to explain that they're closed and everything. It's easier for everyone if you check out my art status so that it answers your question already XD
What do you use to draw?
I used to use Photoshop Elements 9.0 almost religiously (you can see that with my older stuff), but besides maaaybe going to use it for effects, I use Paint Tool SAI now and a Wacom Intuos4 tablet for all my drawings.
How old are you?
How long have you been drawing for?
I've been drawing my whole life. Many members of my family are very artsy, so I was just kinda brought up with it. I started "seriously" drawing in 2009 in my freshman year of high school. That's where I started really drawing random cartoony stuff. Then a few months before I joined here is when I took an interest in felines and TLK styled drawing.
How do you draw so good?
The best answer I can ever give to this question is practice. Like I said above, I've been drawing my whole life, so there's my practice right there. And I'm still practicing every day. Whether it be through non-stop doodling, sketching, or drawing fully done pictures. If anyone wants to be good at something, the only thing I can say is don't give up, and keep trying, because you can only get better. Sorry for the massive clichés XD
Do you have a Facebook?
Yes. Yes I do. I made it to keep in touch with friends irl XD But if you ask me this question, don't take this answer personally. I love all of my friends irl, and that I've met here on dA. But I feel that Facebook is more of my personal place where only my closest friends and family are contacted through. I feel like that's what it's for. I don't need all my dA friends to be my friends on Facebook too. You guys are still my friends here, irl or not ;D But hopefully you guys can understand this and respect my point of view ^^
Can we be friends?
Sure, I don't mind making new friends (although this works out way better online than irl lol). But friendships are built, and earned. Just as an example, my closest friends I have irl are one's I've known... well... almost all of my life. It takes me forever to build a friendship with a new person. So as a word of advice, if you want to become friends (and I might speak for most people), it will have to be built up. But eventually, if you're respectful and shtuff, I don't see why the friendship wouldn't work out
Welp. I can't think of any more questions people have asked me frequently. I'm sure I'll think of more later
